Sandra is the Executive Director for the Michigan Cannabis Development Association. She is the Association’s main point of contact between the Michigan Legislature, regulatory bodies, local elected officials, and the media.

Growing up Sandra has always been interested in politics and public policy. While attending Alma College her interest was fueled by opportunities in the 2008 cycle to become politically active and engaged. Sandra has always been interested in grassroots activism. Starting during the 2009 special election and into the 2010 election cycle, Sandra was hired by the Michigan Republican Party to help organize efforts in the Mid-Michigan area.

After her success, Sandra was hired by the Michigan Senate. Serving as Chief of Staff to Senator Rick Jones, Sandra was responsible for managing not only the bills before his committees but also for his personal legislation. For the last two legislative cycles, this has included being the office with the most Public Acts.

In addition to being very politically motivated and involved, Sandra spends her time with her family, living in Eaton County with her daughter. Together they enjoy the local park and the occasional trip to the ice cream store.

Marc is a dynamic lawyer who has developed his skills over 25 years. He has a unique skill set as a result of earning degrees in both law and accounting and working in the diverse legal experiences he has encountered.

Marc’s practice is focused on structural planning, partnership taxation, estate planning, cash flow modeling and analyzing and structuring investment opportunities.

He has helped entrepreneurs develop and grow businesses, from raising capital through startup, in a variety of industries.

Marc is also an expert in flow-through taxation, primarily partnership tax, syndicated transactions that rely on Reg. D exemptions and the structuring and design of estate plans with a lifetime focus on both income taxes and estate taxes.

Marc has a particular niche in the field of jet acquisitions, where he is able to integrate use of aircraft with both FAA and IRS regulations. He is proficient in aerospace-related transactions and he is a pioneer in the use of the State of Michigan’s Film and Digital Media Incentive for digital productions. He has been integral to obtaining incentives for numerous digital apps, motion comics, interactive websites, and a console game. Most recently Marc left Barris Sott Denn and Driker to pursue tax structuring planning and compliance in the Marihuana Industry.
